Great bridge!

Using Fifthroom to engineer and construct the kit solved a big problem for me; which local contractor had the experience and expertise to make a bridge for me? The bridge is attractive, and most important it is sturdy and safe. I trusted Fifthroom and it was a good call. I recommend them without hesitation.

solid bridge

I am pretty happy with the bridge. It took two of us about 3 hours to fully assemble and position. Clean lines and pretty appearance. The only thing I did not like are those darn square screws. I hate those. I prefer the torx or star-head screws since they don't strip.

Not Just for Pedistrians

I purchased this bridge in order to move my lawn tractor across my "creek" easily. Having previously purchased a walk on bridge, I had a good idea of the quality of the product. When it arrived and I started assembly, I found that the cross braces were not the ones for my particular bridge. I called customer service and received great service, information offer to ship the correct parts and alternatives. I opted for an alternative and Fifthroom promptly gave me a credit to do the local fix. Assembly was easy - really easy since I had my college grandson to help. It's done, in place and has been tested with the lawn tractor. Exactly what I needed.

Well crafted Bridge

I am very pleased with both the high quality of construction of my new bridge, as well as it's appearance. This replaces one of inferior quality that certainly did not pass the test of time & had required routine maintenance for appearance as well as protection of material.I am looking forward to many years of service, without the hassle of renewing the finish, as needed by the old. The new bridge is a very sturdy & useful bridge, capable of bearing weight in a solid feeling manner.

It would be very helpful to have had predrilled pilot holes for the bridge posts.Drilling pilot holes on a bridge over water is not as easy as it sounds.While the position of the center posts were marked, I was left guessing as to the placement of the end posts.I thought that your directions were not particularly good especially in light of any useful help with the aforementioned posts.

Rope Bridge

I love my little bridge. It's only 10' long and 2' wide but I wanted it to be small to go over a small stream I created that goes to a small waterfall and goldfish pond. It is a viewing bridge to look at the pond. Stained it to match my house stain-a blue gray and it went together wonderfully simply.

Just what we were looking for

We are very pleased with our 4'x14'. Footbridge. The ordering process was painless, the delivery was helped by a positive attitude truck driver, plus lift gate. Things went well with moving to the backyard, and construction began. In two days time we had concrete abutments,and full assembly of the bridge, in place. Our landscape company was apprehensive having never installed a footbridge. They were very proud of the outcome, as were we. We stained it in a couple hours time Sherwin Williams mountain ash. Perfect!

The stainless steel hardware was perhaps an unnecessary expense of 200.00. It proved to be soft, easily broken. I would recommend zinc hardware, purchased locally instead. Take the included hardware and match at hardware store. Only complaint....love our footbridge!

Well made bridge. Easy to follow directions and everything went together as it was suppose to. Predrilled holes were always exactly where they were supposed to be. Never had a kit of any kind fit together so well. Very happy with good looking and well constructed 18' bridge with full railings.

Great Bridge

I loved this project, all the pieces were there, pre-marked and drilled with easy to follow instructions. What impressed me the most was that the Trusses were already put together cutting down the work time a lot. My wife and I were able to get the bridge built in 2 days. We made a hole in each top piece of hand rails and inserted solar lights which made it look fabulous at night.

12 foot treated pine bridge no rails

The bridge arrived preassembled. The delivery truck had a lift gate which made unloading simple. I also have a small tractor. It was packaged well because it made it 1500 miles cross country unblemished. I picked the bridge up with the tractor (nylon straps), hauled it into the woods, set it down, DONE!

There was a small additional packaging fee for preassembled unit. It was well worth it for me. Do it yourselfers would probably like the small project.

Delightful experience!

We just installed our new bridge at our health club outdoor pool. It is beautiful. Although we felt it necessary to re-enforce the sub-structure, that is the only modification we made. 'Very satisfied.

Nice bridge but with an error in the color

The bridge components arrived safely on Monday, March 25, and a carpenter assembled the bridge without difficulty on Tuesday. The only problem was that color of the highwood wrap on the long beams was incorrect. We learned from a service rep at the company that the acorn (brown)and toffee (yellow) colors on the website had been reversed. We have asked the company for a refund of some of the purchase price to compensate for the error.

landscaping bridge

I'm happy with the quality and quick shipping. I will be using this bridge to get over the rocks when going into the lake. As I live in Minnesota I have stained it but have decided to wait until the spring to put it in.
