Pool houses are among the most attractive, useful, and versatile backyard structures available. One of the main reasons that they are such popular choices is because they combine the most desirable characteristics of gazebos, garden sheds, and cabanas.

Like a gazebo, a pool house is decorative and elegant, and it adds an air of enchantment to your landscape. To enhance its aesthetic qualities, many people choose the decorative railings and posts, which give it an extra touch of charm.

One of the most popular features of our pool houses is their front porches, which make them look like cottages; and, in many cases, that’s how they are being used. Therefore, it is becoming quite common to find outdoor furniture collections, including Patio chairs, porch swings and gliders, and accent tables, on the porches. Even if you’re not using your pool house as a cottage or guesthouse, it’s a good idea to have outdoor furniture on the porch, as it will inevitably attract swarms of guests during parties. This will be especially true if you use your pool house as the location for your hot tub, which is another prevalent trend.

Your pool house will also be ideal as a cabana, where your guests can change their clothes for swimming.

Another way to give your pool house the feel of home is to equip it with insulation and a finished interior. You can also get a four track window system and/or insulated windows. Our standard pool houses feature two windows; but, if you want to add more, you can speak with one of our project advisors, who will arrange for the additional windows. We also offer optional shutters, available in several colors. If you want to keep insects from annoying you and your guests, you may wish to order screens for your windows.

Sliding Glass Door

One spectacular addition, which is quickly becoming one of the most in-demand, is a sliding glass door. Another option, which will give you added security, especially if you’ll be using your pool house in its capacity as a storage shed, is a steel door.

As your pool house will be an integral part of your landscape, you may want to design it to match or complement your house. If that’s your intention, you will be delighted with the many color choices we offer for vinyl siding, roof shingles, trim, and shutters.

These are just a few of the choices that you have for using your beautiful pool house. With a little imagination, it can be almost anything you want it to be.
