Roof Pitch is a term that describes the slope of a roof:  rise / run

7/12 Roof pitch is standard for our Rough Cut gable roof Ramadas. The roof rises 7" for every 12" horizontal span, forming a 30.26° slope. This pitch will keep the roof clear of common debris, although some buildup may still occur. In areas that receive moderate or excessive snowfall (or leaf-fall) it is recommended and possibly required by local codes to build a steeper roof such as 9/12 or 12/12 pitch. We can provide custom roof pitches to fit your preferred style or local code requirements.
